Friend Makin’ Mondays: Short Answers

It’s Monday again, and you know what that means! It’s time for Friend Makin’ Mondays so let’s get started…

If you’ve taken part in FMM then you know the rules. FMM: Short Answers

Mac or PC? Both, but I prefer Mac.
Do you paint your own nails? Yes, and I’m quite good at it.
Beach or mountains? Again, both…but I’m craving a nice beach vacation right now. Who’s with me?
What’s the title of the book you’re currently reading? First Light – an unauthorized sequel to Breaking Dawn that I downloaded on my e-reader for free.
Do you dance? Yes, but I’m sure I look ridiculous doing it.
CNN or Fox News? I prefer CNN, but don’t read too much into that…Who doesn’t love Anderson Cooper? And my newest love is political reporter, Peter Hamby. Swoon.
Do you ride a bicycle? Yes, I love to ride my bike…it’s beautiful and fast.
Do you get a yearly flu shot? Nope…not a fan of flu shots.
Best movie you’ve seen in 2012? I know I’m behind the times, but I finally saw The Help over the weekend, and it was stellar. I also saw Crazy, Stupid, Love and The Ides of March too, and they were both excellent as well.
Do you prefer to workout at home or at the gym? It depends on the day. I love the gym, but sometimes I’m in the mood to workout at home. I hit the gym hard over the weekend, and it felt good.
Last airport you were in? New Orleans traveling from New York JFK
Married or single? Single…
iPhone or Android? iPhone
Do you prefer to be in pictures or taking pictures? I like both. I take pictures of everything, but I really like to be in them too.
Favorite brand of sneakers? Nike. I’m trying to give my new Asics a chance, but Nike still wins.
Do you like snow? Yep…
Do you have/want to have kids? Want.
Summer or Winter? Both..I like snow and crisp mornings, but I also enjoy basking in the sun.
Do you know how to swim? Yep. It’s one of my favorite activities.
Do you prefer to shop in store or online? Mostly in store…I like instant gratification.

So I didn’t like questions 10 or 11 very much, but curious to see if anyone else says the same thing about question 11. Thanks for the great topics, as always when it’s Monday! A few were hard to choose, but I chose (though I saw you went with both or it depends on several!).

Sorry you didn’t like some of the questions. I come up with them every week so they’re typically derived from topics that interest me. In regards to #11, I think it’s a fun way to learn where people are…I don’t know what part of the country you’re in, but hearing about your airport adventures would give me a better idea.

The point of FMM is to make friends and learn about each other, but I know I can’t please everyone all the time…Sorry about that.

I only meant that I wished the workout question was “home, gym or outside,” b/c I choose outside every day and avoid home and gym workouts as much as possible, so I didn’t like only having two choices (but I know that was your point, same with the summer or winter question, clearly some people like fall or spring best, but you were asking which of the 2 they preferred).

And I didn’t realize you were aiming to get actual locations on 11, I thought it was just strange b/c I expected most people were answering the last place they’d visited, so forgetting their home airport was the last one. I’m in Dallas. Awesome way to find out where everyone lives or travels.

I love FMM! Don’t ever change it or try to please people, I’m really perfectly happy!!

I cannot wait to see all three of the movies you listed! I’ll pass on the book though, I usually skip anything with vampires. Loved the questions and answers, this was fun.

I typically feel the same way you do about vampires, but I can’t explain why I’ve taken exception to Twilight. I just love it…maybe because they sparkle like diamonds and don’t kill people? Ha…

The Help was definitely worth watching….best of the three!
